Who doesn’t like to slack up in nature’s greenery and listen to birds chirping? Several humans, since time immemorial have been amazed by the thought og flying and that might be one of the reasons why they are so innately drawn to birds. Birds can make any ambience more elegant with their singsong chirps and playful peeps. The sounds of a Nightingale especially while going for a morning walk, are a treat to the ears and make the day more positive. Especially, those who have stayed in the countryside, closer to nature, would probably opine that their lives are incomplete without the sounds of birds.
It is unfortunate that the bird population across the world is dwindling each year and one of the reasons behind this alarming trend is the disturbance in the earth's environment. According to a famous saying, “Human Beings are great in their own eyes, but not in the eyes of Nature” . Isn't this true? Aren't we taking our planet for granted? Pollution, deforestation and a lot of other factors are probably why we don't see those birds we saw years ago. Shockingly, in many cities, we humans cage birds within the four walls of our dwellings, rather than let them soar. It's high time we protect these precious gifts of nature.
